The low acquisition and implementation costs, as well as the power, flexibility and expandability of ALPS™ are unprecedented, and has resulted in a rapidly expanding base of new or upgraded LLS networks in the USA, Australia, S. Korea, Brunei in a short period of time. TOA's systems offer affordable and reliable detection and location of cloud-to-ground and cloud lightning, achieving accuracies better than 250m in typical national configurations. ALPS™ also has excellent long-range (>2500km) detection capabilities, making it ideal for providing oceanic coverage.
